Hi bloggers this is my favourite Quick write of the week .
“Eeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeesss!”My little brother Toby screeched in despair while running back from the laundry,
“What are you talking about?” I asked, nearly bursting out with laughter.
“2 eyes coming out from the window of the basement,”he panted, still catching his breath, “come I’ll show you,”.
So I followed him down to the basement, then he stopped In front of the jail like barred window, behind it was pitch black.
Suddenly, a pair of greeny golden diamond shaped eyes appeared. I recognised them as cat eyes so I opened the door to the basement and a very fat cat skidded out .
Later I realised it was probably pregnant.
2 months later…
“Hey come look at this,” my Uncle Paddy called.
In the gutter there was the cat that we’d seen moths before but this time surrounded by 6 tiny ginger and black kittens that looked like fury rats. Over the next few months we feed the mother cat.
4 of the kittens unfortunately died once there were only 2 left my parents decided to get them micro chipped. We lured them into a borrowed cage with store bought fried chicken.
At the vets there was a deal for micro chipping and desexing.
Suddenly the vet asked my dad what he would like to name them not thinking he replied blacky and ginger and the names stuck.
